Hands across the Oceans

Mohamed Al-Najdi in section 162/1 wrote a short essay about his company.

8 guys are interested in art, so they made a small company called the “Y-Not Group”.  I am one of them and work as the P.R. and marketing manager.  In this essay, I will talk about the Y-Not Group and the benefits that I have got from it.

In the beginning, we have free time and we don’t know how to spend it, so we decided to spend it in a useful way with something that will help us in the future.  Y-Not is an art group which paints everything:  clothes, ceramics, glass and even eggs. We don’t just paint, because we do handwork, too, and even know how to make Swarovski eggs.

From when we started until now, we have got many benefits.  First, we have gained self confidence.  Before we felt shy to speak with anyone that we don’t know about anything, but now we can do it, even if there are a lot of people.  Also, in the past, we didn’t know the value of time.  We spent our time doing silly things, but now we know that every second equals 1 kilo of gold.

In conclusion, everyone must spend his free time in useful ways.  We spend it with the Y-Not Art Group and have got a lot of benefits.  The two most important ones are self confidence and time management.  Finally, I wish the best for the Y-Not Group.
