Studying is very important for us as it is the way to reach our goals, e.g. becoming an engineer or doctor and so on.  In this essay, I will discuss how to study.

The first way is to organize your time and not spend all day playing, and also not all day studying.  The second way is to try to study in a group, so that if you have any problem, you can ask your friends, and also you will enjoy your time.

The third way is to try to take a rest from studying at the weekend, so you can go with your family or friends to restaurants or cinemas and avoid boredom from studying.  The fourth way is to try to study enough time before the exam, not one or two days before it, because if you do this, you will get worried and nervous, and you will lose lots of marks in the exam.

To conclude, we should follow many steps to study in the right way and also we should work hard and be patient to reach our goals and serve our countries.

8 guys are interested in art, so they made a small company called the “Y-Not Group”.  I am one of them and work as the P.R. and marketing manager.  In this essay, I will talk about the Y-Not Group and the benefits that I have got from it.

In the beginning, we have free time and we don’t know how to spend it, so we decided to spend it in a useful way with something that will help us in the future.  Y-Not is an art group which paints everything:  clothes, ceramics, glass and even eggs. We don’t just paint, because we do handwork, too, and even know how to make Swarovski eggs.

From when we started until now, we have got many benefits.  First, we have gained self confidence.  Before we felt shy to speak with anyone that we don’t know about anything, but now we can do it, even if there are a lot of people.  Also, in the past, we didn’t know the value of time.  We spent our time doing silly things, but now we know that every second equals 1 kilo of gold.

In conclusion, everyone must spend his free time in useful ways.  We spend it with the Y-Not Art Group and have got a lot of benefits.  The two most important ones are self confidence and time management.  Finally, I wish the best for the Y-Not Group.

A  Introduction

Briefly discuss what is meant by the word outline. Outlines are used by writers to work out plans for their paragraphs and essays. In 101, you will develop your knowledge of outlining by outlining the reading passages at the end of this book.

B  Points to Remember

The main points to remember when making an outline are to:

1 Delete all the articles (a, an and the)

2 Delete the helping words (will, shall, must, may, might, can, could, is, are, has, have)

3 Find the main points and supporting details

4 Leave out irrelevant or repeated information

5 Present the ideas in a logical order, going from the most general to the most specific

6 Use headings and subheadings to show main ideas
